Fantastic! Late to the Tim Minchin party, but he is already on my Mt. Rushmore of all time favorite musician!

I am late to the Tim Minchin party and still can't believe what I have missed.... But when I saw the vinyl it was a done deal. Artwork and form is sublime. Love having the lyrics at hand. I also figured he wouldn't be back to the US anytime soon. So plan on seeing his show in Perth in February. The sound on vinyl is like nothing else could ever be. Classic and timeless.

This album is superb. I originally went to the store to try to purchase something else, but when I saw this vinyl, I caved it. I am glad I did. I had heard the album already on digital format, but this vinyl is spectacular. The artwork, the design, and of course, the wholesome sound that does not compare to digital in any form. The vinyl allowed to appreciate the album in a different and more profound way.

I grew up in generation CD. Vinyl is simultaneously antique and new to me. But when this album blew my hair back I knew I had to support the art beyond heavy-rotation on Spotify. And *something* tells me Tim isn't coming for a US tour any time soon. When the album arrived (great shipping speed) it took a few days before I could bring myself to break the cellophane. Just the cover art is captivating. The raised script, the handwritten lyrics that are too small to appreciate online... I wanted to keep it perfectly unblemished. But that's not what an album is for, so I finally broke the seal. It got better and better. Everything from the art to the vinyl itself is visually stunning. And the sound is a powerful reminder that music isn't always best when heard through our digital machines. I have big plans to keep this treasure safe, but my 12-year-old son is a human wrecking ball and my teen daughter has been known to damage things when failing to look up from her phone. Should such tragedy occur, I'll be back for a replacement! Five stars. Only because ten out of five wasn't an option.
